Salto del Cabrero hiking trial - Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park

Description:

The proposed walking trail runs through the Natural Park of Grazalema, characteristic for the high rainfall and the density of its forests and the famous Spanish fir, an authentic “dinosaur” who lived in the Tertiary period. With medium-low intensity, the route offers a fantastic view. Today, this route is used by local shepherds to collect goat milk, with which they make the famous local cheeses. The Salto del Cabrero (Goatherd Jump) is a beautiful series of vertical rock walls quite close to each other, nicknamed thanks to its proximity and after the myth.
